How do you know that you really want something so much?

You dream about it; most of the time in a rather non-sensical way. Well, I think I've been thinking way too much about Nintendo Wii these days *I WANT!!* that I dreamt about it last night. Haha..
The dream involves me, Good Charlotte and... Ryan Cabrera. That's so random. A dream about GC is not all that surprising. But of all people, I had Ryan Cabrera to hang out with me in my dream. Heh. Why not any other random actor or singer? Why not Joel; considering I supposedly had the hugest crush on him since I was in my secondary school. Heh.
And I wasn't in China..I was back in Toronto. *sob* I kinda miss TO.

Anyone, be nice and gimme Nintendo Wii? I'll love you forever and ever? ;)
If I had my own money, I would buy it myself. But now when I'm still 100% financially dependent on my parents, I couldn't ask them for it.
Plus, I know they'd be so against it... Many people would be wondering why tam wants wii; tam doesn't play games, not even compie games; tam never owned anything like PS or Xbox or that sort before.
Hm, let's see why.. (not in any order)
1. Watched youtube trailer for it. Looks fun fun FUN.
2. Looks super duper cool. White <3
3. Can be a fun form of exercising?
4. BLEACH game!
5. So that I wouldn't be as bored during the weekends.
6. I just.. WANT !!!

It's considerably not that expensive, compared to PS and XBOX that is. I asked @ Silk Street. It would be around 2000RMBish.

*puppy dog eyes* Anyone??

我希望今晚不再梦见你了。

因为每一次我醒来的时候,
我发现。。
它毕竟是一个甜蜜的梦;
在实际上,你不是在我的身边。

I've been feeling more sleepy than usual nowadays; despite the fact that I've been getting more than enough sleep.

Another (another wacky one ._.) Fall Out Boy video: THNKS FR TH MMRS (Thanks For The Memories). Don't even ask why they decided to use shorthand as the title, don't know. What I know is, the song is one of the few that I like from their new album.

Today's weather screams SPRING, baybeehh <3 the wind was hella strong, though.

Linkin Park's new album "Minutes to Midnight" out in May! Finally they're coming out with a new album. First single gonna be titled "What I've Done", releasing in early April. Heard the preview of the song, still sounds like LP, which is a good thing ^^

My Business Simulation Game weekly thing SUCKED. We SUCK SUCK SUCK. I hate this class. Mainly because our group can't seem to perform. ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH.

Finally went to ZARA @The Place yesterday. Bought a kitten top for 129 RMB ^^ (At first, I was going to buy the yellow Pebbles Flintstones tee similar to the brown one I already had, but Mar said it'd be a waste of money..ha ha. Maybe I'll buy Pebbles when it's on sale one day.)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Bought 2 books.

1. Another Jodi Picoult. *gasp* Yeah, I spent quite some time browsing the bookstore yesterday. Given the limited collection of books they offer, plus I couldn't have Mar waiting on me for too long; I decided to be safe and chose her (picked her "Perfect Match" title.)

Nina Frost, an assistant district attorney in Maine, knows how hard it is to obtain a conviction for a sex crime when the victim is a juvenile. So when her five-year-old son, Nathaniel, identifies their priest as being the man who raped him, Nina's grievances with the system become personal. Frustrated by the threat of an unsatisfactory legal outcome, she takes the law into her own hands, killing the priest in open court.
Awaiting her own trial, a startling fact emerges from the DNA: the priest was innocent. Will Nina be able to prove to a jury that her actions were justified, particularly since she killed the wrong man?

2. The other one is pirated haha.. stumbled on it while coming home from dinner @The Tree. Got it for 20 RMB.. Elizabeth Kostova - The Historian. Not really sure when I bought it, I figured it could be an interesting read (supposedly it's somewhat like the retelling of Bram Stoker's DRACULA) and it was cheap; so..

Spent another Saturday @home, again. *sad* : Had HOUSE season 2 marathon. Re-read Detective Conan (trying to catch up the latest volume scanlated: vol 56.. looooongggg way to go).

OMG I sound like a geek (with no social life to boot) >_<

I really should go out tomorrow.

Okiess..after the long hard wait and anticipation for Good Charlotte's new album 'Good Morning Revival', I'm so sad to say that..I'm kind of disappointed (it's not just me, apparently, the reviews aren't so merciful either >> AP trashes them.) I know that they're trying out new sounds and style in their music, but oh oh oh, I want their old style back. I was hoping that it would sound like The Chronicles of Life and Death album.. or at least this album would generally sound like the song 'The River'. I heart that song. 哎哟, doesn't matter..sooner or later this album would grow on me nevertheless. Right now, only a few songs gotten my interest.

good morning revival

My voice is gradually recovering, though. My cough isn't entirely gone, yet. But at least now I'm back sounding like myself. I've been sick so many times with the same annoying sore throat + harsh cough ever since beginning of the year that my roomie pointed out to me today; that she barely remembers my original voice. Antibiotics seem to be neccessary every once a month; which is NOT GOOD. I am tired of being sick, especially when I get the damn fever. WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME? As I said before, I swear I'm never this weak against the winter weather, don't recall being so sickly last year, not in Canada. With spring coming soon, hopefully I won't be getting sick anymore. Wait.. spring means sandstorms and those lil white fluffy things filling up the air.. I NEED CLARITIN! (haven't yet found any in China. They don't even have VICKS syrup *sob*)

That cute Korean guy in my 桥梁 class 换班了。 Sad. No more eyecandy for me. 汉语口语2 would soon be over, I still am not sure on what class to take. Might take 桥梁下 at 3 o'clock.

aish. another weekend spent at home. Wanna go out but don't really know where to go, who to go with. No one asked me to go out. Boring... Plus, has been feeling under the weather *again*. I don't wanna get the flu again....nooooooo. =( I hate it that I'm so susceptible to the winter blues. I don't remember feeling so sickly during the winter back in Toronto. Sighs. I miss Toronto.

ARGH. HEROES is getting so good. I can't wait to watch episode 19!!!!!
I had to keep on reminding myself not to get too close to my laptop screen, not good for the eyes and all, right? *now my eyes kinda hurt*
It's probably the best tv show right now. I'm crossing my fingers the excitement won't fade (ie: like what happened to LOST) ...

*edit* ... shite. Apparently HEROES is on hiatus til' April 23. April 23?!?!?!?!?!?!

Considering changing Project Management to Entepreneurship. Hm. But that means no Qiao Liang class on another Tuesday. And right now, I'm kinda liking that particular class.. ;) how?

Back in Beijing ~
Well, actually I was back in Beijing mid Jan, but I ended up going back to Indo again for Chinese New Year before posting anything in this blog. It was once again abandoned. I'm really bad in blogging. I didn't even remember until Fio bebeh asked me why I never blogged recently. Eh, I think you're the only one bothers to read my useless ramblings, Fi.. :)

So, I am not sure what I should post since there's really no new things happening worth mentioning about happening in my life. Only the usual daily routines; going to class/tuition classes, freezing my ass off thanks to the super deadly wind of Beijing, watching my downloads on laptop (catching up on a LOT of US TV series), browsing Youtube, reading up about celeb gossips, drooling over few eye candies, and if I feel like it, I read on more intellectual stuffs like the news or whatever articles; blah.. the usual. My life sounds so dry. Ah, well..

Maybe it would be more interesting since my MBA courses have started today. Hm, yeah, don't think so. They were boring (then again to think back, I don't think I have never taken any real interest in any uni courses I've ever taken, except for maybe Psychology; but the memorizing part was a pain in the ass). Project Management and Business Simulation Game. Might be more difficult than I was expecting though.

Anyhoots, I'm just gonna do a picture spam this time, from my X'mas holiday in Indo ^^ BALI!

Stayed at Nikko Bali Hotel at Nusa Dua for the first 2 days. It was still as pretty as I remembered, went there 10 years ago.

We hired a driver-guide + car for the 4 days we were in Bali. Went to a lot of places, which...names kinda slipped my mind. I think we went to Seminyak, around there, there is this famous cafe called KDT (coup de'tat) which is always 24/7 bustling with people. I love that place, nice food, great atmosphere, overlooking this beautiful beach with breathtaking sunset. Perfect place for people watching, too.

Went to this lake somewhere up in the mountain. Didn't feel like Bali there, it was cold and breezy there, with mountains, paddy fields, etc. Can't recall what it's called. Stopped by to eat at a restaurant: food totally sucked + expensive but the view from there totally made up for it.

Moved to Hard Rock Hotel, just opposite Kuta Beach. Kuta Beach is totally overrated, btw. The one at the back of KDT cafe was sooo much better. But maybe people love to go there just because of the crowd and the shopping arena around it? Hard Rock was.. a fun, funky otel; different feeling from Nikko. Food was good. My sisters totally went camera crazy at the hotel ha2. Every spot was kodak-material for them.
Celebrated X'mas there..didn't really feel like X'mas though. Went for the morning mass at a new church nearby.

We also went to Jimbaran at night for seafood. GOOD FOOD but lousy non-efficient service. It was far too crowded for them to handle. The food at Warung Made was also recommendable ;)
Didn't do any outdoor adventurous stuff :( Hm.. my parents, you know. They fear those things are not safe enough, yadda yadda. Totallyyy understand their worry as parents, but really, snorkeling! What are the probabilities that accidents occur while snorkeling?
I enjoyed the holiday though. It was fun spending time with my family as a whole, the five of us don't really have many opportunities to get together and have a vacation lately. Dang, especially later when I already have a job.. when do I get the time to take time off and fly to.. Europe (Oh gosh, I SO WANNA GO TO EUROPE! and New Zealand too.. ;p) for a vacation with them? I do want a good, well-paying job (hopefully one that I'd enjoy doing) though. Pray for me, peeps? ^^ If anyone happens to know of a job vacancy in Singapore, do give me a nudge. ;)
