I'm extremely beat. Well, to be more precise, my thighs are killing me. Went to Long Qing Xia yesterday. By bus. Only the two of us (Me and Mar). Sounds like a romantic getaway? =p Eeh, far from it.
I had high expectations going there, been told that it's supposed to be reeeeaaallly pretty and all that. Plus, the website looked promising. Hmm. It is indeed a pretty site; but nothing else much to see, really. Only the huge rocks/hills and water everywhere. And that's about it. On the other hand, the trip to that place itself took us almost 3 hours. So that amounts to.. almost 6 hours for return trip.
It was an interesting experience nevertheless. On the way back from Long Qing Xia to downtown Yan Qing, we were too lazy to wait for the bus..so we each paid 2 yuan to ride in a crappy-falling-apart-van-looking-vehicle. Then much later on, both of us just realised: if that vehicle wasn't really a transport to the city; and we ended up being shipped off and sold to some island *too much watching tv/listening to mom's stories*.. Haha..but we survived. ^^

Harry Potter exclusive trailer!
This one could potentially be my fave HP installment to date. Can't wait til July 13.
Anyways, school days are over. Almost. I still have to write 3000 word essay (group effort).. but other than that, I have no more classes to attend. Happy, yes. But I'm more worried than ever, too. Haaiish. Real world is so much scarier than student days. I envy those people who know what they wanna do in life and are actually good at it. It could make life so much easier. I know I should be grateful with my life, I've been given so much; so many opportunities that my parents didn't have. As my dad said, I've had it so much better than him. Still.. I fear that at the end of all this, what I am is just a disappointment to myself; or even worse to my parents.
There's something funny with my left eye. It feels heavy and.. cramped? Is it even possible for an eye to have cramps?

Stars by Switchfoot
Maybe I've been a problem
Maybe I'm the one to blame
But even when I turn it off
And blame myself the outcome feels the same
I've been thinking maybe I've been part of the cloudy
Maybe I'm the chance of rain
And maybe I'm overcast
And maybe all my luck's washed down the drain
I've been thinking about everyone
Everyone you look so lonely
But when I look at the stars
When I look at the stars
When I look at the stars
I see someone else
When I look at the stars
I feel like myself
Stars looking at a planet
Watching entropy and pain
And maybe start to wonder how
The chaos in our lives could pass as sane
I've been thinking if the meaning of resistance
Of a hope beyond my own
And suddenly the infinite and penitent
Begin to look like home
I've been thinking about everyone
Everyone you look so empty
When I look at the stars
I see someone else
When I look at the stars
I feel like myselfBut what to do.. we can't really see a lot of stars at night anymore nowadays. Not when there's this much pollution anyways.

Just finished watching Death Note 2: The Last Name. Loved it. Better than the manga actually. They kinda made it deviate from the manga; making it much less complicated, more to the point. The final volumes of the manga were too draggy for me. Ever since the manga L was killed, the plot of the manga was too blah for me. The movie Kira/Light doesn't seem as calculating and evil as the one in manga. Even the way he dies in the end is not as horrifying as the manga. They eliminate a lot of the manga characters without destroying the movie flow. The dad doesn't die in the movie. There was no creepy cult/worshippers that followed Kira as their God even after he died. Misa-chan lost her memories about the Death Note and shinigamis. I like it. To anyone who hasn't watched Death Note Movies. I recommend it =D Even to the non manga-readers, it's a recommendable movie.

Woke up early around 7 today to go to Yu Yuan Tan Park. Well, the plan was to meet up at school at 8 in the morning. But, we being Indonesians, of course jam karet.
Tagged along with Mar's Manggala bunch. Originally me and Mar were already planning to go to Yu Yuan Tan to see the blossoms but coincidentally her Manggala organization was also having this "fang sheng" (letting animals of your choice go live freely, once you've let go of that particular animal ie: bird; you've pledged not to eat any kind of bird in your whole life ever again. Mar let go of turtles) at the park. So I just tagged along.
Anyways, the park was kind of huge. The blossoms were pretty much similar to the ones I saw yesterday; only in a so much more vast space. They had pretty tulips too; although it's no match with the tulips at Xiang Shan when we went there last spring.
Weather was cloudy with plenty of cool breeze.
Went to eat Korean hotpot up in Wudaokao afterwards. =)

Today's sun was super extra bright and sunny. Went to Zhong Shan Park (alone) to walk around and see the flowers blooming. Took the bus and subway. Got lost a bit, thanks to the wrong information someone on the street gave me.
The park was quite nice; more than I expected actually. It was worth it, considering the very cheap entrance ticket (only 1.5 RMB with student price!). There were many kinds of flower blossoms; but dumb dumb me can't differentiate any of it; all I know is that they are pretty. And they smell so niiiiicccccceeee; especially the baby pink ones, the ones that look like sakura blossoms but I'm not sure if they really are. When I stood beneath those blossoms (to take narcisstic pictures of self =p), I wished I could stay there forever. Too bad there were a lot of people wanting to take pictures too. Or else I would just settle down there to read my book. I ended up on one of the pavilions to hide away from the burning sun and read my Jodi Picoult. Good read + quiet corner + pretty view + cool gentle spring breeze + my faithful beloved ipod mini = <33

So, okay, going alone to a park (or anywhere else for that matter) may sound a bit pathetic. And I've been doing this for the past 2 Saturdays.
But honestly, I kinda enjoy being alone every once in a while. I can be comfortable with my own pace. Do whatever I want. Enjoy the surroundings. Blast my music. Lay back reading/daydreaming/thinking as long as I want or walk around to god-knows-where without worrying whether I'm burdening someone else. Not everyone enjoys doing whatever I'm doing as much as I do, right? PLUS, main reason for this solo action thing is that my roomate's Saturday/weekends have been busy; and I'm not close with anybody else that would be interested in going with me. My other roomate is gone for vacation. So..yeah. >_< Downside of being antisocial.

I hate it that it's colder in my room than it is out there >_<
Just did our BSG weekly thing. It's our last week. (although all hope of salvaging our group's performance is nada.) *sighs* I hate this subject.
Man, time sure does fly and wait for noone. Before I realized it, May is already rearing its ugly head. Well, not that I'm not happy that I am finally graduating; it's just that it means I NEED TO FIND JOB ASAP. (and all these questions clouding my mind. will I find a job? will I be competent enough to perform? will it be satisfying? will I find friends there? will I like living there? will I this will I that.) And relocating. I kinda hate moving and relocating.
It's Friday. Weekend! I shouldn't think too much, right? It's WEEKEND!
*fangirl mode: on*

Dong Hae & Shiwonnie! *giggle2* Wee heee...
tam is hoping for a clear blue sky this weekend. tam wants to go see flower-seeing. ^^

Ah, sorry I haven't been posting lately.. Nothing's interesting lately. Nevertheless here I am. ^^
Skipped Chinese today. Didn't feel like goin =p The weather was too moody, plus I think it was drizzling all day.
Watched
Nada Sou Sou (Tears For You). At first the only reason I wanted to watch this movie so bad was Satoshi Tsumabuki (the same reason why I watched the trailer for Tokyo Drift over and over; just for that few seconds glimpse of him saying 'Start!Go!' Ha3).
He kinda reminds me of a certain someone from the past. I've watched most of this guy's movies; most of his movies are BLAH. (well, most of Japanese movies are blah/slow-paced.)
However, this movie; being a huge box office last year, getting pretigious award nominations and what-not; was actually not disappointing. Given the title, of course you'd expected a sad ending. But it wasn't that much of tears-inducing. The plot is touching. But kinda predictable. Still, I have to admit.. Satoshi Tsumabuki is not merely a pretty face.

It's Andy's birthday today. 祝你生日快乐!He's 26 :)
//music: Hawk Nelson - Is Forever Enough? <3
What makes all of us hate?
We're all the same
We roll the dice
And we play your game
We complicate
Show us the way
Before it's too late
And the whole thing breaks
We have a name
We all create
Everything else, the mistakes we made
We'll make a change
We'll concentrate
Before we suffocate
Now I'm trying to get up
I'm trying to retrace
My steps back
To wherever I messed up
Is forever enough?
What makes everything change?
We're not the same
We all get stuck in the same cliche
How come we wait?
Why do we hate?
We're falling away like the last crusade
We rearrange
We need to change before we suffocate
Is forever enough?

I smile, you laugh, I look away
I sigh, you ask me why, I say,It's ok
I am just feeling' down
Your hand on mine,I hear the words
If only love had found us first,
Our lives they would be different.
So I stand and wait..
Where would we be now,
If we found each other first,
Where would we be now..
And now I must confess, that I am a sinking ship
And I'm anchored by the weight of my heart
It's filled with these feelings
But I keep my true thought locked,
Beside my heart's black box
And it won't be found,
It won't survive through the smoke or the wreckage
So I crash and burn, I got a lot of things to learn,
If I said these simple words,
I'll wait, I'll wait
As long as you want
But where would we be now..
What would you do now,
If I said these simple words
I'll wait, I'll wait..

Was supposed to go flower-seeing whatever this morning, but apparently the weather was icks. Wind was howling and howling. I heard it was up to 60 kmph! I'm glad we decided to not go; cause those peeps who eventually went ahead to the park said the blooming flowers were still non-existant. Heh. So, yeah, another Saturday spent at home watching movies and tv series @laptop ^^"
Feel like doing another piccie spam! But this time, it's gonna be FOOD!! Photos courtesy of my dahlink sis, Na2 (when she came to visit).
my fave jian bing from the lil shop in front of my school's east gate
The new korean BBQ joint, just next to Pepper BAR. I love going there mainly because i <3 the free salad they give. =p~
Annie's! We love Annie's! <3 They're affordable and yummies! Prolly the best tiramisu I've ever tasted.
Hutong Pizza @Houhai. Despite the creepy surrounding hutongs, me likey this place. Their brownies is heavenly, too. No piccie of brownie. When we tried to take piccie, it came out looking like gunks of poo.
Not exactly in my list of fave place to eat (their food n drink menu is kinda pricey), but Cafe Bros' cakes are quite recommendable.

Awwh, now I'm hungry.
