Back in Beijing ~
Well, actually I was back in Beijing mid Jan, but I ended up going back to Indo again for Chinese New Year before posting anything in this blog. It was once again abandoned. I'm really bad in blogging. I didn't even remember until Fio bebeh asked me why I never blogged recently. Eh, I think you're the only one bothers to read my useless ramblings, Fi.. :)
So, I am not sure what I should post since there's really no new things happening worth mentioning about happening in my life. Only the usual daily routines; going to class/tuition classes, freezing my ass off thanks to the super deadly wind of Beijing, watching my downloads on laptop (catching up on a LOT of US TV series), browsing Youtube, reading up about celeb gossips, drooling over few eye candies, and if I feel like it, I read on more intellectual stuffs like the news or whatever articles; blah.. the usual. My life sounds so dry. Ah, well..
Maybe it would be more interesting since my MBA courses have started today. Hm, yeah, don't think so. They were boring (then again to think back, I don't think I have never taken any real interest in any uni courses I've ever taken, except for maybe Psychology; but the memorizing part was a pain in the ass). Project Management and Business Simulation Game. Might be more difficult than I was expecting though.
Anyhoots, I'm just gonna do a picture spam this time, from my X'mas holiday in Indo ^^ BALI!

Stayed at Nikko Bali Hotel at Nusa Dua for the first 2 days. It was still as pretty as I remembered, went there 10 years ago.
We hired a driver-guide + car for the 4 days we were in Bali. Went to a lot of places, which...names kinda slipped my mind. I think we went to Seminyak, around there, there is this famous cafe called KDT (coup de'tat) which is always 24/7 bustling with people. I love that place, nice food, great atmosphere, overlooking this beautiful beach with breathtaking sunset. Perfect place for people watching, too.

Went to this lake somewhere up in the mountain. Didn't feel like Bali there, it was cold and breezy there, with mountains, paddy fields, etc. Can't recall what it's called. Stopped by to eat at a restaurant: food totally sucked + expensive but the view from there totally made up for it.

Moved to Hard Rock Hotel, just opposite Kuta Beach. Kuta Beach is totally overrated, btw. The one at the back of KDT cafe was sooo much better. But maybe people love to go there just because of the crowd and the shopping arena around it? Hard Rock was.. a fun, funky otel; different feeling from Nikko. Food was good. My sisters totally went camera crazy at the hotel ha2. Every spot was kodak-material for them.
Celebrated X'mas there..didn't really feel like X'mas though. Went for the morning mass at a new church nearby.

We also went to Jimbaran at night for seafood. GOOD FOOD but lousy non-efficient service. It was far too crowded for them to handle. The food at Warung Made was also recommendable ;)
Didn't do any outdoor adventurous stuff :( Hm.. my parents, you know. They fear those things are not safe enough, yadda yadda. Totallyyy understand their worry as parents, but really, snorkeling! What are the probabilities that accidents occur while snorkeling?
I enjoyed the holiday though. It was fun spending time with my family as a whole, the five of us don't really have many opportunities to get together and have a vacation lately. Dang, especially later when I already have a job.. when do I get the time to take time off and fly to.. Europe (Oh gosh, I SO WANNA GO TO EUROPE! and New Zealand too.. ;p) for a vacation with them? I do want a good, well-paying job (hopefully one that I'd enjoy doing) though. Pray for me, peeps? ^^ If anyone happens to know of a job vacancy in Singapore, do give me a nudge. ;)
