Mom and Dad came to visit again for a few days, settling all that renovation plans thing; discussing things with the interior design people, choosing mattresses, sofa, tv, etc. Sounds simple, but really is tiring. It's not like shopping for clothings, especially with my parents being extra choosey when it comes to sleeping and watching tv comforts. Like other people in Singapore, we try to beat the GST hike. 2% might not seem much, but with huge buys like those, that little increase is A LOT.
Anyways with them visiting, I get to eat better food without feeling extra guilty.
Tried Swensen's White Chocolate Blond (eh, not sure about the name). It was... lovely. Perfect serving of both hot and cold. Classic vanilla ice cream accompanied with brownies and lots of pistachios & bunch of other nuts on a sizzling pan splashed with maple syrup. The picture I'm posting doesn't it any justice.

Also ate at Coffee Club with my sis. Their Mushroom Melt Sandwich was surprisingly good even though I found it kinda overpriced for a mere sandwich that size. Their supposedly award-winning Mud Pie is a must try, though! For a coffee and chocolate (plus Kahlua and OREO bits!) lover like me, it was oh-so-yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Do share it with someone else; eating it alone could be too overwhelming.

The long-awaited ZARA sale is finally here! I saw and tried out a dress I really want; but stupid enough not to buy it. And by the time I made up my mind to buy it the next day, they're GONE. FINISHED. I searched in EVERY ZARA outlet for it today. NADA. Well, I found it; but not in my size. The other one they have was too green. Ugh.
You know those clothes that you like but you don't know when you'll wear it because you just cannot picture yourself wearing them or don't know when you'll find the perfect occasion to wear them? It's one of those. It's silky material with bright blue, green and yellow! I can't imagine Tam wearing it. I was narcisstic enough to take pictures...

Ah, the other shirt/dress was also cute. But I'm gonna wait for further reduction; if it turns out they're out of stock by then..I guess it just means it isn't meant to be. That's what they always say, leave it to fate.. ;P
